    Timpanogos Cave National Monument – The Timpanogos Cave National Monument Visitor Center is located in Highland. The Timpanogos Cave is located just a couple miles up American Fork Canyon.

    Alpine Scenic Loop Byway – Access to the Alpine Scenic Loop Byway starts at American Fork Canyon and passes through Sundance to exit out of Provo Canyon. Magnificent scenery can be seen all year, though roads may be closed off during some winter months.

    Highland has exceptionally ranked schools. Highland has five schools in the area to choose from. There are three elementary schools, one junior high, and one high school. The high school is for the Highland and Alpine area. The Alpine School District is a fantastic and includes the schools in the Highland area.
