Provo, Utah Real Estate

Provo is located 43 miles south of Salt Lake City, as the third largest city in Utah.  Provo is considered by most to be the “heart” of Utah County.  Provo has a population of about 115,000 people.  If you ever need to get away, Provo has its own airport with service to Mesa, Arizona, Oakland, California, and Los Angeles, California.

There are always activities downtown from free concerts to ballets.  Due to the thriving economy Provo is growing fast.  Provo just built a state of the art recreation center, with basketball, volleyball, racquetball, indoor/outdoor pool, skate park, and gym.

If city life isn’t for you, the mountains are right in our backyard.  Sundance Mountain Resort hosts the famous Sundance film festival, which attracts people from all over the country.  The world class Utah snow can be enjoyed during the winter, while hiking, biking, Sundance ZipTour and Provo Canyon River rafting are favorites during the summer months.

Provo is well known for being the home of Brigham Young University.  However, Provo also has thirteen elementary schools, two middle schools, and two high schools. The elementary schools are highly rated “blue ribbon” schools by the US Department of Education. Each high school hold records for the most 4A State championships in either football or basketball (Timpview High School, Provo High School).
